Walk in bath tubs are designed to assist those with limited mobility or the disabled. Walk in bathtubs enable the elderly, and those with mobility handicaps to safely enter and exit the bathtub without having to step over the rim. Walk-in bathtubs also allow the elderly and disabled to safely take a bath without the assistance of another person.
The 2653 Dignity safety tub is designed to fit in the smallest of existing tub spaces, this compact yet spacious bathtub is 26" wide, 53" from end to end, and a luxurious 3' deep. So even a small bathroom can accomodate this walk in tub, allowing you to soak comfortably and completely.
A showerhead can be mounted above the tub like in a typical shower/tub, or it can be mounted on the tub deck for use in a sitting position.
