Whirlpool system (air and water)

Whirlpool system is available for the Felicia pedestal bath tub.

All Neptune baths with a whirlpool system are now equipped with the new Silencia pump. Its unique single speed technology significantly reduces operating noise while increasing pumping power up to 1 h.p. This new component will contribute towards giving you a more intense bathing experience, almost in silence!

A pump draws up the bath water and projects it through jets which are situated on the sides of the bath. The air supply (by low pressure / venturi effect) speeds up the water flow and enriches it with oxygen. An automatic air supply allows jets to obtain maximum pressure assuring an in-depth massage. The strategic placement of the jets (adjustable) on the side of the bath can direct the jets towards your body’s strategic points in order to personalise your massage.

Available jets include turbo jets and micro-rotating jets with bubbling action which are usually placed at the back of the bath.

Neptune offers on all his whirlpools the new suction Secura. A suction that, mechanically, self-releases when anything obstructs the suction’s grid.

You can add the Ozonator option to your whirlpool which will ensure you a safe bathing environment. Ozone is the most powerful disinfectant that can be safely used in a bathing environment... even more effective than chlorine and bromine! There are no harmful by-products created by ozone and it kills all known bacterias and viruses provided that it is used on a regular basis.

Back Jets Layout

Mass-Air System (hot air)

A heating turbine injects / or forces air in the bath water through valve injectors located at the bottom and sometimes in the back of the bath. Each bath is equipped with 12 to 34 injectors, which amounts to 72 to 204 air outlets or more, depending on the size of the bath and the customer’s wishes.

Activ-Air System (hot air)

A heating blower propels air in the bath water via micro-jets situated all around the bathtub and sometimes even in the backrest. Each bathtub is equipped with 37 to 64 micro-jets, strategically placed in order to maximize the therapeutic effects of the massage.

With both systems, pre-heated air from the Optima blower is propelled through these jets, creating thousands of air bubbles (geyser effect) creating a therapeutic effect. Thanks to electronic controls (multi-function), you can personalise your massage according to your needs. Each micro-jet is designed in order to drain itself automatically. Moreover, twenty minutes after coming to a full stop, the system will automatically activate a drying cycle in order to dry out the injector valves, ensuring their longevity and optimal sanitary conditions.

Both Air Bath Systems are available for the Felicia and Ulysse pedestal bath tubs.

Bottom Jets

To enhance the relaxing effect, it is also possible to choose to include optional Activ-Air+ micro-jets at the bottom of the tub. Each micro-jet has 4 air outlets and is equipped with an anti-backwash valve.

Customized massage combinations

Did you know it is possible to increase the effectiveness of your system by accentuating the pressure on the most sensitive points of your body? Let us present you with three specialized techniques that will enable you to optimize your personalized bath massage.

Lumbar massage: Nowadays, back pain is very common, and the most sensitive area is surely the lower back. It is precisely there that the micro-rotating back jets provide an intense and localized massage. A customized jet layout will enable you to fully maximize the tonic and refreshing effect of this massage.

Recommendation:

• Whirlpool system with 4 to 6 micro-rotating back jets.
• Mass-Air or Activ-Air system with 3 to 8 injectors (gentler massage effect).

Neck massage: You feel tired and you have a stiff neck? By adding a neck cushion as well as directional jets, you would then have a direct effect on one of the most sensitive spots of your body, and by the same token create a relaxing sensation and allow you to forget everyday worries.

Recommendation:

• Neck cushion and two adjustable jets.

Foot massage: The science of reflexology claims that a subtle pressure applied to certain areas of the body can in fact relieve pain and accentuate relaxation. By adding foot jets (using either water or air pressure), your feet will be subjected to a vigorous massage that will in turn loosen up muscular tensions and enhance your feeling of wellbeing.

Recommendations:

• Whirpool system: 2 big jets (turbo or Maxima), or 2 micro-rotating jets for each foot.
• Mass-Air or Activ-Air system: 1 to 3 micro-jets for each foot.

Neptuner - The Ultimate Sound Experience

The Neptuner system is available for the Felicia pedestal bath tub.

Because music is commonly used to promote a sense of well-being, Neptune created the Neptuner, an advanced audio technology giving life to an invisible surround sound system enabling your favourite music to follow you into the water.

By using powerful acoustic transducers (handling 200W), the Neptuner sends sound waves through the bath's shell turning it into one huge speaker. By simply connecting this new feature to an audio and/or video system, you'll have the pleasure to rediscover your favourite CDs, MP3s and DVDs amplified by the power of water conductivity. Employing high-energy Neodymium magnets, this sensational option is available on the Felicia pedestal bath tub. To optimize the sound quality of your Neptuner, a 4 channel digital amplifier is also available.

All chromotherapy options are available for the Felicia pedestal bath tub.

Mood Light

The Mood Light Option enables you to incorporate colors and their spectacular effects into your bathing ritual. This feature consists of a light (controlled by an ON/OFF push button) and 6 easy to change color filters (Clear, Blue, Green, Yellow, Red and Pink).

Chromotherapy Light (20 LED)

You can also upgrade this option by adding the Chromotherapy Light which will maximize the diffusion of the light in the water. Chromotherapy Light comes with a 5 years warranty.

Programming a cycle:
Press the button for the light to go on, then press again the applicable number of times, within the next 10 seconds, to program the following functions:  
Press once: White
Press twice: Blue / Green
Press 3X: Blue / Red
Press 4X: Blue
Press 5X: Red / Green
Press 6X: Green
Press 7X: Red
Press 8X: Complete automatic cycle

Chromo+ System

This option will totally enhance your bathing experience and the soothing effects of colors on you. The Chromo+ System consists of 4 mood lights, each equipped with a 10 LED bulb of a different color (Red, Green, Blue and White), and a modern electronic control pad to enable you to select easily the color wanted. Four automatic cycles, or emotions (Romance, Passion, Tranquility and Rainbow) can be selected in two different speeds.

Red
Associated with vitality, red is considered a stimulating color. Usually used to help create an exciting, sensual environment.

Green
Green has a more sedating effect, representing balance, harmony and peace. Because of its neutral vibration, green is considered a fresh and fortifying color. Its relaxing effects are often used to help create a serene, calm atmosphere.

Blue
Blue, a cold color, is usually associated with power and authority. It may be the best color to use while soaking in the tub and relaxing tired body and muscles after hard exercise. Some believe that blue establishes an atmosphere suitable for meditation.
